SH5000 - Storm SAR Jacket with MOLLE System

Rescue Source's designers worked directly with the manufacturer so we could offer this all seasons jacket with the features we feel are necessary to cover all types of scenarios. Made of waterproof and breathable fabric for any of the weather conditions you may face, the Storm SAR jacket comes with a removable fleece liner, which can be worn separately, that when combined with the shell create a jacket suitable for even the coldest climate. The shell features underarm zippers and mesh backing for comfortable warm weather use. What sets this jacket apart is the versatility our built-in MOLLE system offers. Originally designed for use by the military, the MOLLE webbing loops allow you to truly customize the jacket for any given situation or profession. The MOLLE pouches and range from a radio pouch to a hydration system pouch. You simply attach the pouches by threading the tabs through the webbing and close the snaps. Any type of MOLLE pouch can be used with the Storm SAR jacket, even the ones in our RQ3 Rak-Pak No matter what your needs are in a jacket, this jacket is the ONLY one you will ever need!

What is Taslan?

Taslan is a modern, high-tech, woven polyester fabric. It is a strong, durable fabric. It's also very quick drying and able to wick moisture away from the body quickly and efficiently, so you don't get all sweaty. And because it dries so quickly (it doesn't hold the water like cotton), you're not left standing in cold, clammy clothes when you sweat.

The base polyester is coated with Nuva, a substance with similar properties to Teflon, which makes the fabric showerproof. You could pour a glass of water over our Taslan and it would form beads and run off. It is also stain-resistant
