MS2000 - Humminbird Search and Rescue Side Imaging Sonar

Humminbird 997c and 1197c

The Humminbird Search and Rescue Series is unlike any other small boat sonar on the market. Humminbird designed the SAR to allow quick image interpretation during emergency, flood, and recovery/salvage operations. Scan the bottom with Humminbird's Side Imaging/DualBeam PLUS technology and the system returns an easily interpreted image resembling an aerial photograph instead of the globs and clouds of a traditional sonar display.

The imaging system also incorporates realtime image refresh and mark placement for crew recovery, later investigation, or recovery of items. Not content to stop with the imaging, Humminbird also incorporated a fifty channel GPS system displaying speed, chart position, and track.

The SI SAR system comes in two models, the 997c and the 1197c. The 997c features an eight inch color display which is even visible in the sun or bright light. The 1197c is equipped with a ten inch screen with the same full color and bright light visibility.
